A person living in a retirement or long-term care home may welcome more individual attention, companionship or help with daily activities. We discuss additional support that complements the setting’s existing care.
Individual time and attention
Support may include conversation, activities, help at mealtimes and agreed personal care, based on the resident’s needs and preferences.
Staying connected
Where suitable, we can discuss accompaniment on outings, errands and appointments, with mobility and transportation arrangements confirmed in advance.
Working with the home
Visits are coordinated with the resident, their authorized representative where applicable and the home. We respect the setting’s requirements and clarify responsibilities before care starts.
Planning your care
Services require coordination with the home and do not replace its care responsibilities.
