Hospital stays can be stressful for a person and their family. An additional companion can offer conversation, reassurance and a familiar point of contact during agreed visiting periods.
A personal presence
We can discuss companionship, shared activities and practical assistance that the hospital permits. Mealtime or personal support is provided only where agreed with the hospital team.
Communication with family
With the patient’s consent, we can share agreed non-clinical updates and help families stay connected to everyday needs and preferences.
Working within the setting
The hospital team remains responsible for clinical treatment. Any outside support must follow hospital policies, infection-prevention requirements and the patient’s care plan.
Planning your care
Hospital approval, access requirements and staffing availability are confirmed before arranging visits.
